About S.A.F.E.
More than 30 years of supporting, connecting, and empowering families affected by autism in Northeastern Pennsylvania.
Supporting Autism & Families Everywhere
S.A.F.E. is a 501(c)(3) nonprofit organization founded in 1995 by families affected by autism who came together with a shared vision: no family should navigate autism alone.
Over the years, S.A.F.E. has grown into a powerful regional resource, offering knowledge, advocacy, support, inclusive events, extracurricular activities, and family-centered programming across Northeastern Pennsylvania.
Our guiding principles, Include. Teach. Share., shape everything we do, from the programs we create to the partnerships we build.
Our Mission
"To support and empower families affected by autism spectrum disorders by helping identify services, activities, support systems, events, and opportunities specific to the needs of those families."
