How Resources Can Help
It can be challenging navigating the resources available for individuals with ASD and their families. There may be too much information to process or there may be resources available that you may have been unaware of. S.A.F.E. has collected resources available in the area to help ease the search. The list includes a variety of resources, including; medical services, behavioral services, lawyers, employment opportunities, assisted living, waivers, and additional services.

The Adult Autism Waiver (AAW) is a Home and Community-Based Services (HCBS) Medicaid waiver which tailors specific needs for adults with autism by providing long-term services for community living.
Community Living Waiver
Community Living Waiver provides support for individuals with an intellectual disability (ID) or autism diagnosis so they can live more independently with a variety of services to assist them.
Consolidated Waiver
The PA Consolidated Waiver helps individuals with an intellectual disability (ID), developmental disability, or an autism diagnosis to live in their homes more independently by providing services to suit their needs.
